The Connectingcamp – a summer dream in 2011

Spiritual learning and teaching at the Connectingamp at the Vogelsberg. A private initiative, perceived as an open forum for people interested in spirituality, Witch knowledge, magic, love of nature and self-awareness off the beaten track will be taken place in 2010 from 14. of july to 28. of july

The aim of the Connectingcamp is to provide a low priced opportunity to widen our horizons together. In the course of this private, self-organised camp, everybody has the possibility to provide his knowledge and skills for a harmonious cooperation. Take part and help turning this project into a common summer dream!

 

Why a spiritual Connectingcamp?

We have been active in the pagan, shaman and esoteric scene for a while now and we have noticed that many people express their beliefs only in their backyard. On the other side, there are many offers by self-declared salvation enunciators, who offer their dubious marginal science for lots of money. Many associations and organisations do a good job in their own surroundings, but due to their structure and ideology do not stand open for more than a limited number of people.

The aim of this private initiative is to provide a further opportunity for living witch knowledge, magic, love of nature and self-awareness off the beaten track. We are the circle and within us, there is all the knowledge... it is up to us to open it.

We all have a common dream. It is about our idea of life in harmony with the forces of nature, an intact circle of friends and a healthy body. We want to live these values together with you and complete one another in our thinking, feeling and acting by exchange and communication.

The location at the Vogelsberg – living and celebrating together in nature!

Our Connectingcamp is to take place on a beautiful site at the Vogelsberg in Hessen. Last year, we organised a summer camp for our association only and thus got to know the virtue of this place. Off the residential areas and the noisy streets we have space there to celebrate, teach and learn for about 100 people.

Facilities
There is a washhouse, toilet facilities, a kitchen hut and a refuge with enough room for common acitivites, in case it should start to rain. The low priced camping area lies directly at the edge of a forest with a lot of firewood, a little stream and sanitary equipment.

Activities
Besides some offers provided by us, the camp is primarily supposed to be an open forum, to which everybody can and should contribute with one's own activities, actions, lectures etc.! Single condition: all contributions should be offered for free (besides possible contributions towards expenses).

The following activities are scheduled so far:

• Sweat lodge
• Collecting and preparating herbs
• Archery
• Meditation
• Music making
• Theatre work
• Dance
• Common meals

Catering
We set a high value on the common meal. At least once a day, a biological meal shall be prepared and eaten together. After all we are a circle and want to strengthen it by having common meals!

What else?
All workshops are free offers, there are no obligations for participating. But we demand respect. Respect for Mother Nature and for our individual lifestyle and express of belief. Enthusiasm and the wish to look beyond one's own nose is very much desired!

The costs for the camping site are only 5,00 Euros per night and person.

Basically, participation is possible for everyone on his own responsibility. There are no organisers and therefore there is no registration, either. Thus - just show up spontaneously!
